About

The Karlsson lab is driven by the goal of improving patient outcomes by translating advanced technologies into clinically actionable cancer therapies. We focus on identifying why current treatments fail and how they can be strengthened to achieve more durable responses. Rather than developing entirely new therapeutic paradigms, we aim to refine and extend existing treatment strategies through data-driven insights, with a particular emphasis on preventing relapse and treatment resistance. Close collaboration with clinicians ensures that our research is grounded in real clinical needs and has a clear path toward patient impact.

Location

We are located at Karolinska Institutet, Department of Oncology-Pathology, and Science For Life Laboratory.
